The
following list enumerates the architectural scenarios that should be
supported by the SORMA system. Thus, we use it to derive requirements
for the SORMA architecture: Some of the requirements derived from the architectural scenarios:
- trading support for low-level resources and for higher-level services with dependencies
- support for multiple different market models (in parallel)
- applications require continuous "real-time" allocation, pre-planned batch job allocation
- dynamic (re-)allocation
- powerful service descriptions (e.g. covering dependencies in service value chains, licenses, QoS,...)
- simple management interface for virtual resources
- data gathering interfaces along all abstraction levels
